Specialist Leaders of Education
WHAT IS A SPECIALIST LEADER OF EDUCATION (SLE)?
SLEs are excellent professionals in leadership positions below Headship with capacity, capability and commitment to work beyond their own school.
SLEs have at least 2 years of leadership experience.
See the menus to the left to find out how to apply to be an SLE or to see the list of our SLEs.
HOW CAN AN SLE HELP YOUR SCHOOL?
We have 29 accredited SLEs, from a variety of Buckinghamshire schools, covering a broad range of specialisms.
Please see the menu to the left to find out more.
Support can be provided to suit your requirements from as little as half a day's deployment.
Examples of SLE support that you could book for your school:
Development of a core or foundation curriculum subject leader
Improvement programme for a teacher looking to develop their key skills
Leadership development for a new middle or senior leader
Planning and curriculum support for a year group team
CPD programme for TAs
Additional NQT Support
Subject or SEND Review
Bespoke project of your choosing
HOW DO I BOOK AN SLE?
The services of a Specialist Leader in Education can be booked at a cost of £400 per day.
This is to cover the cost of releasing the SLE from their home school and the admin of the Teaching School Alliance. Bespoke sessions may cost an additional half day or full day depending on how much planning is required.
If you would like to discuss using the services of our SLEs and the nature of the support that you are interested in, please contact Victoria Morris: 01494 535564 firstname.lastname@example.org
